LIVE: Crosstown, Co. Wexford

Project Overview

Our client contacted Thermohouse in January 2020 to quote for the supply and install of our complete low energy building system for her house in Crosstown, Co. Wexford. This consisted of our 300mm external block, 250mm internal block, 160mm Thermofloor first floor and Thermoroof. The layout of the house consists of a combination of bungalow and a 2 storey with monopitch roofs built of a piled raft foundation. The first floor steps are in over the kitchen and with our ICF wall we were able to remove the steel beam structure and replace with an upstand RC beam within the wall.

How Thermohouse helped

Thermohouse commenced onsite the 27th of July 2020 and were ready for the first floor pour on the 15th of August. However due to an unforeseen delay with the clients external contractors we had to demobilise for a couple of weeks to allow time for works with the underfloor heating pipes to be completed on the first floor slab. The Thermohouse team are now back onsite to complete the build.

The clients are surprised at the speed of the build using our system and are currently planning the remainder of the house inside.
