My first opportunity to work with Thermohouse came about when a self build was having to wait months for a blocklayer. After visiting the factory in Killarney we quickly made our mind up, this was the new, modern way to build houses. Dony and Denis guided us through the entire process and Dony came to the site to get us started.
With a raft foundation fitted for blocks it’s great that Thermohouse has a filler block to make up the height difference. We have continued to fit rafts for all houses and a lot of engineers were happy to see us use this method. I’m based in Belmullet, Co Mayo where houses are badly affected with pyrite, the Thermohouse ICF complete building system gives homeowners not only a rapid built, better warmer home, it also gives the comfort & security of not using concrete blocks again.
We have been building with ICF for over 2 and a half years and have 15 houses built. All my clients in their completed homes have great praise for ICF, especially with the cost saving on heating bills.
