Project Overview

This project is a two storey private house on Loreto Road in Killarney. The groundworks started on the 12^th of April 2021 and the family moved into the house on the 17^th of December 2021. A total of build time of 8 months.

The house was constructed on a raft foundation using the 350mm external Thermohouse block, 250mm internal loadbearing block, 160mm Thermofloor for the first floor and Thermoroof for the flat and pitched roof.

System Advantages

With the use of the Thermoroof the clients were able to create and addition 607 ft2 of usable space on the second floor and added a permanent timber stairs access from the first-floor level.

This area has been converted into a very generous kids play area. This increased the usable space in the house from 2,550ft2 to 3,157ft2.
